Live Love Local Fareham website relaunched with events calendar

Fareham Borough Council announced on 1 October 2026 the relaunch of its Live Love Local Fareham website, which it describes as a one-stop shop for local events, news, independent businesses, crafters and makers.

The council said the site covers communities across the Borough, including Portchester, Warsash, Stubbington, Park Gate, Titchfield, Locks Heath, Sarisbury and Fareham town centre.

What is new

A key feature is a free events calendar that anyone can use to promote community events, from village fairs and waterfront activities to open days and town centre events. The site also has a business directory organised by business type, including a dedicated category for local crafters and makers, which the council said did not previously exist for Fareham.

A news section lets businesses, organisations and community groups send in updates for possible inclusion.

Background

Executive Leader Cllr Simon Martin said the campaign was first launched in 2021 to support independent shops and food and drink businesses during and after the Covid pandemic, and has now broadened to promote events, independent businesses and local makers. The council said the site also complements its wider programme to regenerate Fareham town centre.

How to get involved

The council invites local business owners, crafters, makers and event organisers to submit a business listing, add events, share special offers or send in news. The site is at livelovelocalfareham.co.uk, and the full announcement is on the Fareham Borough Council website.
