Locks Heath is a suburban area in the western part of Fareham Borough, which saw major housing development from the mid-1980s. It has a local shopping centre, which the council calls Locks Heath Shopping Village, with a traditional market on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The area has several local schools and a district centre.
