- Paint (limit: 5 litres per household per month, in sealed container)

Tips Before You Visit

- Book early during summer — June to August slots fill faster.
- Call ahead if you're unsure about an item — 02380 179 949 (Mon–Fri 9am–5:30pm).
- Sort your waste at home if possible — it speeds up the tipping process.
- Don't bring prohibited items (tyres, asbestos, explosives) — staff will refuse them.
- Check your booking confirmation — it will have your time slot.
- Arrive a few minutes early — latecomers may lose their slot.

Alternative Disposal Options

Garden waste: Segensworth HWRC accepts garden waste. Alternatively, Hampshire offers a separate garden waste collection subscription for regular collection.

Bulky items (sofa, cooker, bed frame): Some items can be collected from home by the council for a fee. Contact Hampshire County Council directly.

E-waste (fridges, TVs, computers): The HWRC accepts most electrical waste. Some retailers also accept items you're replacing.

Tyres: Take these to a local garage or dedicated tyre recycling centre — not the HWRC.
