Fareham Borough Council has announced significant changes to parking arrangements in the town centre, set to take effect this spring.
The changes are designed to encourage more visitors to local shops and restaurants, with the first hour of parking set to become free in several key locations.
Council leader Sean Maybury said: 'We want to make Fareham town centre as accessible as possible for shoppers and visitors. These changes will help our local businesses thrive.'
